Emergency Services

The Madison Regional Health System emergency room is staffed 24-hours per day by an on-call Provider as well as a qualified staff of nursing, laboratory, radiology and cardiopulmonary personnel. Four treatment rooms are used to meet the area's emergency medical needs. EMS service is available for ground transfers and a helipad is available for emergency air transport to a tertiary center for advanced lifesaving treatment if needed.

The MRHS EMS team practices the most up-to-date techniques and practices. Two ambulances are equipped with the latest technology and is stocked with Advanced Life Support equipment.

The ER Entrance is located in the BACK of our facility on the Southeast corner.

Our professional staff strive to keep abreast of new treatments and keep ER skills sharp through the Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certification.
