Rehabilitation Services

Madison Regional Health System provides quality rehabilitation including physical, occupational, speech and massage therapy in a variety of settings such as skilled care and outpatient services. We work with all ages including babies and children in the Birth-3 and school programs along with patients in area nursing homes.

Patients that are part of our wellness exercise program can even use the exercise area for their treatment Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Our rehabilitation team is also certified in LSVT BIG and LSVT LOUD which is an intensive program for those with Parkinson’s disease or other neurological impairments. LSVT BIG works with motor movements, and LSVT LOUD addresses speech production and volume.

Speech Therapy

Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive deficits, voice disorders, and swallowing disorders in children and adults. Speech services begin with an evaluation of communication and/or swallowing disorders. SLPs provide consultation, intervention, and treatment for these disorders.

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy can add a variety of benefits to your health and well-being including deep breathing, improved flexibility, posture, and circulation. It can also help calm the mind and reduce anxiety. Our licensed massage therapist also provides complementary therapies like cupping and reflexology.
